Street Furniture

Enniskillen, Northern Ireland

Our proposed street furniture interventions for the town of Enniskillen aims to support Fermanagh & Omagh District Council’s ambition to renew public engagement in the historic island town. Simplistic in their form and make up, our proposals do not seek attention; their main purpose, simply to connect people and promote social interaction with one another. Robust, static objects designed to withstand the demands of the town’s transient spaces. To emphasis this quality, we proposed the use of pigmented concrete, ground and polished to express the locally sourced aggregate.
